Our skilled wax carver is a true artist, able to create whatever your imagination desires. The benefits of having an artist carve a wax, as opposed to something machine-carved, are many. Any jewelry with flowing lines should be created by hand; a machine simply cannot grasp its beauty. A machine also may not be able to judge proportions on a piece of jewelry the way a master artist can. A computer screen cannot anticipate the subtle nuances that often make the difference between a good piece of jewelry and a masterpiece.

	A design of the jewelry is sketched on paper.
	The design is rendered in a special wax, exactly as the finished piece will appear.
	The wax is then attached to a sprue and covered with a special casting plaster. The wax is placed in a kiln and heated to 1500 degrees F, which melts the wax, leaving a void later to be filled with gold or platinum.
	The plaster is broken away, revealing an exact metal copy of the wax. This is called a raw casting.
	The raw casting is filed and polished, and then the gems are set, leaving us with a beautiful final product.
